1. I have prior knowledge about fundamentals of nursing and nursing ethics.

2 . I do not have any experience in online course. This would be my first experience.

3 . I would like to discuss about time management.

1. After looking through the weekly objectives, I feel I do not have any prior knowledge of any topic. That being said, I am excited to learn and enhance my knowledge along with my skill set every week.
2. Almost all weekly objectives remain unfamiliar to me. I am looking forward to this class, although the thought of having to take a statistics course has always left me a little nervous.
3. I am just nervous about this class in general and I know that my confidence and understanding will come with time. I know that if anything were to ever trouble me I could reach out to fellow classmates and the instructor for a better understanding.

An objective I have prior knowledge of is the importance of advocacy and activism as a professional nurse, as this is something I take seriously in my current job in behavioral health. Many of our members have very busy case managers who can’t necessarily complete all tasks and assistance patients should be receiving so I am frequently advocating for a way to ensure patients needs are met.

The objective I have limited prior knowledge of his how my bachelor education will benefit me the most besides the career opportunities it will provide. I am curious what content was the most beneficial and relevant for students who have graduated from the program.

What I would like to discuss with the instructor is APA papers, as it has been my experience that instructors have graded differently for APA essays. What challenge do you see students have most often when completing these assignments?

1. Which weekly objectives do you have prior knowledge of and to what extent?  I have studied the scope of practice for a registered nurse related to nursing assessment, intervention, evaluation, teachings, development of nursing care plans and advocating for patients. 
2. Which weekly objectives do you have no prior knowledge of? I have no prior knowlege of professional dynamics or the use of conceptual models.
3. What course-related topics would you like to discuss with your instructor and classmates? What questions or concerns do you have about this course? I am looking forward to discussing nursing history and theories with my classmates. I do have some questions in regards to using APA format. Although I have used APA before I am not the best at using citiations.

I have prior knowledge of basic nursing practice being that I’ve been a nurse for 18 years.

I would like to discuss more about time management in nursing being that we do a lot not just in our professional career but also our personal lives.

Nursing theories, history, and conceptual models were discussed in fundamental of nursing in nursing school. They were touched as the basis of nursing but nothing in depth about the topics.

Other weekly objectives seem somewhat strange but could have been introduced in another form.

What course-related topics would you like to discuss with your instructor and classmates? What questions or concerns do you have about this course? 

Online class might become challenging to an extent for me because I appreciate been in one-to-one discussion with people so that my submission can be more explanatory to people. I believe in seeing is believing.

3.Enhancing my critical thinking nursing skills while working on the floor, developing plan of care, utilizing my skills while contributing to the health care.

Evidence-based practice, I feel a though I solid foundation of I have participated in monthly quality assessment and improvement meeting for years. The metrics and data if good, is measurable and evidence based. I have seen policies rewritten and changed based off collected evidence based data.
2. Which weekly objectives do you have no prior knowledge of? I have some knowledge of most of the objectives. However I am no expert in any of the objectives. In some instances defining what the objective is asking would be about as broad as my knowledge would lend itself. For instance Nursing conceptual model and Nursing theory . I believe the idea is in conceptual model what can observe measure and reproduce. The theory is the defining how one concept is related to an other concept.
3. What course-related topics would you like to discuss with your instructor and classmates?I have always enjoyed discussing and getting other opinions on patient advocacy. Especially as it relates to patients rights and  responsibilities.

1. Which weekly objectives do you have prior knowledge of and to what extent? I have no prior knowledge. This is my first class and I am excited.
2. Which weekly objectives do you have no prior knowledge of? I have never taken any online classes.
3. What course-related topics would you like to discuss with your instructor and classmates? What questions or concerns do you have about this course?  I am excited to learn and I am excited about this journey.

I have learned basic steps of nursing process working as an LVN for many years. As nurse, I have the knowledge of basic patient care, medication administration, physical assessment, aseptic procedures and infection control, history taking, patient and family education, etc.

In-depth knowledge of nursing procedures
